Sandqvist Södermalm Remake
Store concept for Sandqvist - Everyday Bags & Items
After completing the Östermalm store, we took the new, and improved, concept back to the Södermalm location.
The flooring of clear varnished pine planks was kept intact, as well as the wooden wall paneling that just got a fresh coat of paint, a nuance darker than before to contrast the light wooden details.
A new cashier's desk and floorstanding furniture was added according to the new concept. By rearanging the existing storage and staff areas we opened up a whole new room for the leather collection and made possible for the signature plywood backdrop. To free more sales area and create a more welcoming entrance to the store, the new cashier was placed more in the center, with better overview. A plywood sliding panel was added in front of the wall mounted hooks in order to easily divide and highlight different product segments.
